Alumni Circle

Nearly 145 years ago, Wesley College opened its doors as an institution committed to helping students pave pathways to success. Now the Wesley College Alumni Association is offering an exclusive opportunity for Wesley’s proud alumni to pave the way for future generations of students and graduates. Your Alumni Circle gift allows your commitment to be recognized and encourages others to support the incredible opportunities and traditions that make Wesley the special place we all love. Your generosity enables the transformative experience that takes place in our classrooms, labs, playing fields, and stages every day.

Don’t miss out on your chance to become a permanent part of the new Alumni Circle. Reserve your spot today!

“This campaign is a way to give back to the place that changed all of our lives,” said Kirsten Higgins ’98, president of the Wesley College Alumni Association. “Wesley counts on alumni investments in the College and every gift makes a difference. The Alumni Circle campaign provides alumni a unique chance to leave a visual legacy of our investment in Wesley.”

Alumni Circle was launched on October 17, 2015 as a chance for Wesley graduates to make a lasting mark on campus. In recognition of a gift of $500 or more (payments can be made over a five year period if desired), Wesley will engrave a brick in honor of every alumnus participating in the campaign.

Alumni Circle will anchor South Plaza, outside Parker Library, Dulany Hall and the southern entrance to the DuPont College Center. It is the circle where new students start their college career during Orientation and end their college career when they begin their walk to Commencement. Alumni Circle will reconnect alumni to Wesley as they return to their alma mater.

“Coming back to Wesley feels like coming home for so many of our alumni,” said Oswald Guobadia ’96, a member of the Wesley Alumni Association Board of Directors. “With Alumni Circle, we can all take part in building a new place at Wesley that puts alumni in the middle of campus life.”

Alumni who take part in the campaign can view their personalized bricks at Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, October 13 – 15, 2017. Gifts received during the Alumni Circle campaign will benefit the fund designated by the alum and are fully tax-deductible.
