Livingston Earns CAC Weekly Honors
Wesley College's James Livingston has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on December 2. This is the first time that Livingston has been honored by the CAC and he is the second Wolverines to receive conference weekly honors (David Langan) in the first three weeks of the season.
A senior guard/forward from Trenton, N.J., Livingston led the Wolverines to a pair of victories last week, averaging 22.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 57.1% (8-for-14) from three-point range and 88.9% (8-for-9) from the line. Livingston started the week by scoring a career-high 23 points in a road victory over No. 8 Hampden-Sydney where he scored the team's final eight points in a six-point win. He then notched 21 points with five three-pointers in a CAC victory over York (Pa.).
For the season, Livingston is averaging 16.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists and just over two steals while shooting 44.6% from the floor, 58.3% from downtown and 95.0% from the charity stripe.
